Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) is widely applied to various types of infrastructures including high-rise buildings, bridges and tunnels. It is used to detect damage in the structure, determine damage locations, identify types of damage and assess the severity of damage.
The Load Carrying cCapacity Analysis is used to determine the capacity of the analyzed members or structures to determine whether the tested structures can carry the given load condition or how much load they can withstand. This analysis is necessary when the design details are missing or when there is uncertainty in the design or construction.
